Overview
Forrester Consulting Group is a strategic advisory firm headquartered in Georgetown, Guyana. A member of The Forrester Group (Guyana), Inc., FCG produces analytical work for Caribbean government, multilateral, and institutional audiences.
What We Do
FCG operates at the intersection of diagnostic intelligence and policy action. We design proprietary frameworks, build scored assessment instruments, and develop advisory programmes intended to translate data into decisions — for governments navigating resource wealth, firms positioning to scale, and institutions seeking to modernise.
Our practice spans energy and extractives governance, digital commerce and fintech strategy, private sector development, real estate and construction advisory, maritime and the blue economy, trade and export readiness, housing and infrastructure policy, human capital and workforce architecture, legal and regulatory compliance, the creative and orange economy, agricultural value chain development, and strategic communications.
Our Approach
FCG’s intellectual architecture is built on first-principles thinking, zero-based analysis, the reframing of inherited categories drawn from Caribbean intellectual tradition, and Go strategic philosophy applied to Caribbean governance — combined with sustained engagement with the structural realities of small-state development. We don’t replicate international frameworks. We build Caribbean-native diagnostic instruments calibrated to the specific constraints of CARICOM economies — small markets, brain drain, informal sectors, fragmented regulation, and the transformative pressures of Guyana’s oil era.
Our diagnostic work draws on a verified Guyana and Caribbean data compendium and proprietary indices in development, including the Caribbean Digital Commerce Readiness Index (CDCRI), the Petro-Digital Readiness Index (PDRI), the CARICOM Leadership Effectiveness Index (CLEI), EntreprenScale, and the Position-to-Projection (P2P) Framework.

FCG is led by Robert David Forrester, a Guyanese entrepreneur, consultant, educator, author, and public speaker.
